Alexie -- adopted after only eight days in the Rescue -- 2-1/2
year old spayed female, owner surrender to Vanderburgh Humane Society
in Evansville, Ind. Very sweet, active, average size female with
the activity level of a young girl and an abundance of affection.
Lacie --2 year old spayed female, stay out of Shiawassee County
Animal Control and in Rescue since November 2001. Sweet girl with
all the typical Samoyed traits (physical & temperament). Always
eager to please, but in return, demands attention
Molly -- She was so sweet she didn't last long in foster care,
was snatched up after only a few months.
Sterling and Sebastian -- 3 and 5 yr old males, together forever
in a loving home.
Timber -- Four-year-old male. Very type for the breed Average size
and a heart and attitude typical to the breed. Living it up in his
new home.
Mattie -- 4 year old spayed female stray out of Muskegon Co. Animal
Control. Large in size (61 lbs.), large in heart. This girl is the
absolute sweetest thing you could meet, great with every situation
including kids & cats.
Blaze-- 8 year old neutered male, stray out of Tuscola County Animal
Control and in Rescue since October 2001. A very laid back gentleman
who is full of love from head to toe. He will be good in a home
with comfortable furniture, a fireplace and a leisurely walk around
the neighborhood.
Solo -- 3 year old neutered male, stray out of Elkhart County Humane
Society and in Rescue since November 2001. Above average-sized boy
with biscuit coat. He is an attention "hound" that just
wants to please. Good with kids and would work great in a single
dog home.
Sierra -- 5-1/2 year old sweet girl who loves attention and being
involved in family activities. Great with children and other dogs.
Phoebe -- 2 year old spayed female stray out of Muskegon County
Animal Control. This absolutely adorable girl (45 lbs.) is full
of life and appreciates every moment, will be great in a family
situation including other dogs and cats
Sebastian -- 1 year old neutered male, owner surrender to Michigan
Humane Society-Detroit. Very active, energetic young boy who gets
along with other dogs and kids. This little boy has a lot of puppy
love and puppy antics in him.
Kodiak -- 3 year old neutered male, owner-surrender to MSR in May
2000. Nice boy with obedience training. Extremely hyper dog who
needs a very understanding family willing to work with him. Good
with dogs and children.
Snowshoe -- 9 month old neutered male, owner-surrender to Kalkaska
County Animal Shelter. Typical playful puppy, good with other dogs,
cats, people -- loves the outdoors.
Yukon -- Average-sized Samoyed, extremely friendly and great with
other dogs and children. This boy is the definition of everything
you have read about a Samoyed (friendly, happy, cheerful and obedient).
Simba -- While Simba is an only dog; he has feline and human siblings
and is the baby in his new house.
Nemo -- 1-1/2 year old neutered male stray out of Inkster Animal
Control and in Rescue since April 2001. A larger Samoyed with a
great playful personality and a need for attention. Should be a
great family member who will participate in every activity.
Storm -- 4-year-old neutered male, came from same home with SIERRA
in January, 2001. He has the company of two other Sammy's and is
helping to fill a void left when his new family lost one of their
own.
Betty -- 6-year-old spayed female stray out of Ottawa Shores Humane
Society, a real sweetheart who wants nothing better than to please
her people. This little girl will make a great addition to a family.
Pearl -- 1 year old female stray out of Clinton County Animal Control
and in Rescue since July 2001. An average-sized female with lots
of puppy in her. This little girl is full of love and is great with
other dogs and with kids.
Sammy -- 2 year old male, owner-surrender to South Bend Animal
Control and in Rescue since July 2001. A large male with a heart
and desire to please and get attention to match his size.
Lika -- 5 year old neutered male, stray out of Muskegon Co. Animal
Control. Small 46 lb. male, great loving little boy, good in any
situation & good with strangers, kids, and other dogs. Bonds
quickly and will be a great addition to a quality pet home.
Blizzard -- 2 year old neutered male stray out of Muskegon County
Animal Control. Small, 45 lb. male, good personality. Seems like
a nice boy who loves attention from people.
Arthur -- 6 year old neutered male, owner-surrender to MSR in February
2001. Overweight male (87 lbs) who came to us from a home with children.
Nice personality, loves to play and get attention.
Buddy -- 1-1/2 year old neutered male, owner surrender to Oakland
County Animal Control. Good size, wonderful "puppy" personality.
Loves attention and being with people.
Snow Bear -- 4-year-old neutered male stray out of Michigan Humane
Society/Detroit, in Rescue since December 2000. Average- sized male,
very "type" in looks, great temperament. Active young
male will be very good in a single dog home with active parents
or with active children. Good with other dogs. Has the habit of
barking for attention and enjoys the sound of his own voice
