Hey Guys!

I wanted to let you guys know how I was doing down here in Texas! I have been having a lot of fun! Aimee has taken me down to the creek and I get to splash around with all the kids and dogs down there. I walked all over in the creek (it has a rocky bottom). I could see little fish swimming around. I pawed at the fish and rocks and sometimes even stuck my head under water to try to catch one… no luck. We also played ball in the water. Aimee had no idea that I would like the water… but I definitely don’t like to swim. I get pretty upset if I step where there is a drop-off, maybe I would like it more if there wasn’t a current

Obedience training went well. I can now walk into PetsMart and not loose my mind in the excitement. I got along with the dogs in my class for the most part. The boxer dog liked to occasionally box me… I let him know I don’t appreciate it. I wasn’t the ‘teacher’s pet’ but I was definitely the class clown. I knew the teacher always had treats so I sat very sweetly in front of her until she gave me one. She loves that I can beg pretty and catch treats like a pro!

Aimee doesn’t think she will ever completely trust me around strange dogs so I guess going to the dog park is out of the question. I saw the dog park once… I don’t think I want to go there anyway, it is all dirt. We did go on a walk last weekend with over 3000 other dogs! Talk about a lot of sniffing! We ended up walking with 6 other dogs who looked a lot like me!

I am shedding that Michigan winter coat now! It is up in the 80s most days now. I went to the groomers on Monday. They got so much fur out of me that my collar can be worn two notches tighter now!

I have been a very good dog… or at least I think I am because I get hugs and kisses ALL the time. I also seem to have a never-ending supply of rawhides!

‘Talk’ to you more later!
